2. Scan Purchases
Scans purchased on Score My Resume are digital goods and are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests under the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If our service fails to work due to technical problems on our end and scans are deducted without delivering the analysis
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction
- Unauthorized Transactions: If a purchase was made without your authorization
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@scoremyresume.io with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address
- Provide the transaction ID or payment receipt
- Describe the reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant screenshots or documentation
4. Refund Timeline
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original transaction. We will review your request within 5-7 business days and notify you of our decision via email. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Scans that have already been used for resume analysis
- Dissatisfaction with analysis results (as these are AI-generated insights)
- Failure to land a job or interview (as we do not guarantee employment outcomes)
- Requests made after 7 days of purchase
- Violation of our Terms of Service
6. Cancellation
Score My Resume operates on a scan-based system without recurring subscriptions for the MVP. There are no recurring charges to cancel. If we introduce subscription plans in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
7. Scan Restoration
In cases where a technical issue on our platform prevents successful analysis, we may restore scans to your account instead of issuing a monetary refund. This allows you to retry the analysis once the issue is resolved.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
